We manage the "Hotel & Apartment Alpenland" now already in the second generation and together with our staff we create this typical family, personal and relaxed atmosphere, which is so appreciated by our regular guests for years.

Gerald Rödl - Chef
For many years he has led our kitchen operation with a lot of creativity and commitment. He attaches particular importance to the careful selection of natural and fresh ingredients, healthy raw materials, as well as the finest preparation of the food creations.
Thierry Kern - Head waiter & sommelier
He is an absolute expert in the field of upscale restaurant service. Important to him is a well-groomed service, as well as employees who respond to the wishes of the guests with an open and friendly manner.
Claudia Kurt - Receptionist
Most of all she likes people and laughter. She keeps an eye on the wishes of our guests and is a real organizational talent at the front desk.

Where we are
Gurgl - in the Ötztal
The village is located at 1930 m above sea level and is a typical 2-season place
- with a long winter season (from mid-November to the end of April) and
- a short summer (from late June to early September).
In winter, Obergurgl is one of the most snow-sure winter sports resorts in the Alpine region and appeals above all to upscale guests. In summer, we are a contact point for hikers, mountaineers and bikers.

The "Alpenland" was built in 1956. It developed from a small guesthouse with 20 beds to today's 4-star hotel for about 90 guests.
